From North Shore to South, the dark horses were definitely all out galloping.

Taking out top flight Quebefoot in the semifinals wasn’t enough. Instead, Crystal Paleuss made a total mockery of the playoff panel with a 3-2 win over Mistral, capturing Brossard’s A Division despite their own fifth-place regular season finish.

Sabbah 2 also managed to catch everyone off guard, knocking off both FC Moris and the Ballkickers before sealing the B-Division deal with a 4-3 win over FC Immigrants.

In Laval, the same Boisbriand side that finished their FB season barely above 500 edged Blue’s Clues and then sailed past Underdog United 3-1 in the final – and only Andrea was there to see it coming.

Third-seed DTW slipped past the fourth- seed Bulldogs to clinch their improbable FC playoff run. And last but definitely not least, in the FC2, the Vipers, down 2-0, scored four unanswered goals to knock out the mighty Grenades and cap off their own Cinderella story.
