FC Bergham might be forgiven for thinking they had the C3 all wrapped up a few weeks ago.

But aside from throwing struggling FC Focaccia and Manu Bates some juicy playoff bones with back-to-back no-shows, the forfeit losses also awoke the animal spirits in runners-up FC Lagoria and FC Youngsters, both of whom won very close and crucial games this week. The former just grabbed the throne, the latter third spot. Now sandwiched, FC Bergham may get its house in order still, which should make for some spectacular fireworks come October.

LOOKING AHEAD TO WEEK 14 …

The Pink Panthers will need to prove theirs is more than a two-horse race when they face Avengers on Sunday.

Monday’s game between FC Parmigiano and USC will likely determine the B2 Division’s regular season champ. Then on Tuesday, les Tipsy will look to cement a hard fought playoff spot with a win over les Boucaniers.
