The worst of times have given way to far better ones for the C1 Division’s dark princes.

With their most recent 3-0 win over FC Scopa, the FC Goons have now won six of their last seven games (a 7-1 beatdown against untouchables Goldslick notwithstanding) and pulled themselves out of the gutter and into playoff contention. Their early season difficulties against tougher opponents, however, may come back to haunt them as they get set to face top dogs La Famiglia and FC Babette in their final two regular season encounters; games that will determine if the Goons are a proper threat or simply late-summer smoke and mirrors.

LOOKING AHEAD TO WEEK 13 …

Fresh off knocking off the top seed, the Avengers will look to steal the St. Leo throne with a win over les Bleus this Sunday.

FC Thunder and Blue Sky will battle for third best in the FB Division Tuesday night in Laval. Then on Wednesday, deadlocked Bruno Sports Bar and No Kidding FC will get their last shot at top spot in the C2 when they meet at 10 pm.
