Much like the burrowing African mammal from which they’re named, the Aardvarks have managed to survive and thrive in difficult conditions.

And the team’s rollercoaster ride in Totalcampo since the Winter of 2014 took another sharp turn this weekend when Saul Meza-Flores chipped the goal and then struck the warrior pose that led Aardvarks to a 2-0 win over undefeated No Kidding FC, putting the regular season throne in the cuthroat C2 Division in play with the playoffs just around the corner. A follow up win against third-seed Bruno Sports Bar this week would only confirm the Aardvarks have again awoken to smell the termites.

LOOKING AHEAD TO WEEK 9 …

FC Boozy can claw their way ever closer to payoff contention with a victory over winless les Coriaces Sunday.

FC Thunder will look to build on a huge draw with FC Boisbriand last week when they face winless Aftermath Tuesday night. Then on Friday, Primavera will look to gain a little breathing room in the stuffy C5 Division with a win over FC Fratelli.
