Things just took a turn for the sunnier in Blue Sky’s bid for FB Division equality.

Vassilia Gagnon got the lone goal, keeper Isabelle Plante closed up shop and Blue Sky put an end to FC Boisbriand’s six-game undefeated reign with a third shutout win in their last four starts. Content to match records with their arch rivals, Blue Sky still see steady competition on the horizon, both the B-Liners and Blitzz having kept pace three points behind with respective wins of their own, pointing to the potential for late summer rumblings to be sure.

LOOKING AHEAD TO WEEK 8 …

Picture perfect Queen of the World will look to squeeze the life out of the FC Animals in FC action this Sunday.

Los Angelos FC have a three-way tie for first in the B2 Division to break when they face USC Monday at 9 pm. Then on Tuesday night, Les Tipsy can stumble straight into the FC Division’s playoff race with a win over Amazones.
