BROSSARD – BROTHERS IN LEVEL-HEADED ARMS
18 Jan

Beating an undefeated division head is always a feat worthy of mention, but the Mauritian Brothers know it’s nothing to get overly excited about.

“We will certainly not get carried away as we are aware of the quality and toughness of the league this season,” explains a thoughtful Jean-Francois Ip Wan Shek following a convincing 5-2 win over the Red Devils Sunday. “We noticed they had a few injuries coming into the game and that might have played against them.”

The Mauritian Brothers will now take their own four-game unbeaten streak to struggling Real Juventud with the hope of carving out a little more breathing room in the B Division standings. “There’s currently only two points separating the top four sides. We won’t get complacent and have to take our next game very seriously.”

POTG: “It was an overall solid team performance. All credits to the team – we worked hard and deserved the win.”
